Course description: This e-learning will help you obtain a basic understanding of accounting and auditing in the public sector. This course has been updated to reflect the latest PSAS updates including the changes related to the new conceptual framework and reporting model effective for fiscal years beginning on or after 1 April 2026.

Target audience: All APS and new hires, regardless of level

Completion timelines: March 31, 2026 for current APS; within 3 months of hire date for new employees

Externally hired employees: All externally hired auditors regardless of level
