Description: This course will equip you with the knowledge of how and why it is important to gain an understanding of the entity’s IT environment.
This course is part of the “Impact of IT on the Audit” series.
By the end of this course, you will be able to:
- Identify the components that comprise the IT environment.
- Consider characteristics when assessing the complexity of the IT environment.
- Analyze how IT Audit involvement is linked to your conclusion on the level of complexity and how to approach their involvement.
Target audience: AP FIN 0S up to PX FIN/APA. Available to CCOLA members.
Time frame: Must be completed by March 31, 2026.
Required for externally hired auditors: AP FIN 0S up to PX FIN/APA should complete this course within the first 9 months at the office.
