Description

Course Description: This hands-on training course is designed for auditors working in Direct Engagement (DE) at the Office of the Auditor General of Canada (OAG) who are transitioning to the TeamMate+ (TM+) audit management system. Through a combination of demonstrations, guided exercises, and independent learning activities, participants will gain practical experience using TM+ to manage audit projects, document audit work, and collaborate effectively with their teams.

Participants will explore the full audit lifecycle within TM+, from project planning and execution to reporting and oversight. The course emphasizes how TM+ supports audit methodology, improves workflow efficiency, and enhances audit documentation and review processes.

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

• Navigate the TM+ interface and access assigned audit projects.

• Update project profiles and schedules and assign dimensions and team roles.

• Add and manage audit objects such as criteria, procedures, documents, issues, recommendations, and notes.

• Document audit work using TM+ features including hyperlinks, SmartCheck, and workflow status updates.

• Use dashboards and TeamInsights reports to monitor project progress and support oversight.

• Generate audit reports and manage project closure and offline work.
